Emaciated Dog Found Dumped in Garbage Bag – It’s A True Miracle That She Survived!
My heart was broken when I saw Nanook at AMA Center, she was discovered by a police officer in a garbage bag.
she arrived so malnourished – couldn’t move or lift head, after 10+ hours, she got better but still couldn’t stand up. vet discovered that muscles in her legs had atrophied. indicated she kept in a small space, presumably a crate. and had spending long periods lying in her own urine.
Despite all the pain, Nanook is still a very sweet puppy, slowly but surely, we see a lot of progress in Nanook, her wounds, mental and physical are gradually healed. she enjoy her daily physical therapy and medication.
Nanook loved her new toy very much, maybe first ever, still long way to go but Nanook is so resilient fighter. after 2 weeks, she can stand up and walk a bit, such a sweetheart that waited me at the door everyday, but her muscles are weak and can’t keep balance yet, basically now Nanook has to learn how to walk again, it’s a heart-wrenching sight but she tried very hard.
Always smile on her face, always show her love, first time walk again outside, with support. she gained 5 kilos until now and looked much better, it’s so great to see Nanook walk on her own now, but she get tired quickly and need a long rest.
The next week, Nanook got much better. it’s amazing to see Nanook transformation until now, still a long way to go, but 100% it’s a way of love.
