Mateo was abandoned lying breathlessly inside a carton box. He was a pitiful sight to behold He was extremely exhausted, and emaciated. Tears welled up in his eyes as he looked around. Hoping for someone to come to his rescue… As fate would have it, some neighbors heard the faint cries.
Their hearts broke at the sight of the poor puppy, covered in ticks and struggling for his life. The ticks consumed him little by little. We rushed there after received report from those neighbours. We can feel the frailty of his little body in our hands.
He lay there, still and weak, his eyes filled with despair. It was clear that Mateo had suffered greatly during his short life His little body was struggling to hold on. We took him directly to the hospital. Mateo was admitted with a grave prognosis. He received an emergency blood transfusion The vets worked tirelessly to stabilize his fragile condition.
He was severely dehydrated and malnourished… …and the ticks infesting his body had caused further harm. He stayed there for the vets to monitor him more closely. Gradually, Mateo’s resilience began to shine through. With each passing day, he grew stronger.
With a lot of love, effort and dedication, Mateo resurfaced leaving behind the abandonment he suffered Mateo now live a life filled with love, joy, and adventure.
