If you think you’ve given birth to a big baby, you haven’t met this woman.

This American mother revealed in a now-viral TikTok video that her second child weighed 6.5kg.

The mom, who goes by @shans1588, decided to share her story when a TikTok user put out a call for internet users to share their big baby stories, and she was only too happy to respond.

“Oh, you want to play the biggest baby?” she replied. “Gotcha.”

The mom stood in front of her son’s image shortly after his birth and explained.

“At 38 weeks and one day, I delivered my second son by C-section, with the help of two doctors, because he weighed a whopping 14 pounds and 6 ounces.

His baby was also almost 60 cm long.

In Australia, the average weight of a newborn is around 3.3 kg and the average length is around 50 cm.

“That’s right,” she says. “I gave birth to a toddler, who then spent 11 days in the neonatal intensive care unit, where he was clearly the biggest baby.

“The NICU didn’t even have diapers or clothes for him. They had to go up to pediatrics to get size 3 diapers, and he came home with clothes sized between 6 and 9 months.

Since then, the video has been viewed nearly two million times, and Internet users have been quick to react with jokes.

“He’s already got a credit rating,” laughed one Internet user.

“This baby drove himself home from the hospital,” added another.

“He started taking college classes the next day,” wrote a third person.

In a follow-up video, the mom assured everyone that her not-so-little baby is now five years old and healthy and happy.

“Our little boy J is a healthy, stubborn and strong five year old who loves baseball, soccer and monster trucks.
