A Stray Dog Never Stopped Smiling And Asking To Be Petted, Even After Living In A Field For 7 Years
Zelda lived as a stray dog in a field for 7 years. It wasn’t easy, considering the harsh Romanian winters, but she had her little “home” and a kind man regularly brought her food,” wrote the Romanian dog protection association Howl Of The Dog.
Zelda had other dog friends and whenever people came to see her, she was always smiling and seeking human attention. But Zelda’s situation changed when the neighboring neighborhood became residential. The residents of the new houses began to complain about the dogs.
His rescuers explained, “Unfortunately, one of the dogs in their pack was found dead one day, and that’s when the person who was feeding them contacted us and asked if we could take the dogs from there.”
Fortunately, Howl of The Dog was able to take in Zelda and one of her friends. It took a while, but Zelda found the perfect family.
They sent videos and photos showing Zelda’s new life.
She now lives in Germany and has the happiest of lives. Her adoptive mother told Howl Of The Dog, “Zelda is the best thing that could happen. Me and all my family and friends are really in love with her. Whenever possible, I take her with me and she loves it.
